Metabun_ny world found in my dreams

Metabun_ny is a fictional character created by a digital artist Yeseul O. A bun at a burger shop in New York refused to become a burger and escaped to the metaverse. In the metaverse, it became Metabun_ny. It can be ANY-THING/ONE it wants to be.

“Metabun_ny World” is an art collaboration between Dream Gream and a digital artist Yeseul O. It was started with the imagination of the other side of standardized life and a desire for adventurous life without restrictions.

Dream Gream emphasized with a story of Metabun_ny and created a delightful dreamworld of their own. They imagined the times and spaces where Metabun_ny would pioneer and the appearance of how it would look.

The fantastic Metabun_ny burger shop in “Metabun_ny World”  is a space where you can get a glimpse of dreams and ideals of the Metabun_ny characters created by Dream Gream and Yeseul O. It  is also a portal to the metaverse. You can encounter 10 distinctive, special stories of the Metabun_ny characters that live their own lives in different worlds.

The virtual Metabun_ny world enables infinite imagination in between the reality and the ideal world. If you could go to any universe, where would you go?

나의 꿈에서 발견한 메타버니 세상

메타버니는 증강 현실(AR) 디지털 아티스트 오예슬 작가가 만든 가상의 캐릭터로, 뉴욕의 한 햄버거 가게에서 번(bun)으로 태어났지만, 버거가 될 운명을 거부하고 도망쳐 메타버스에서 메타버니(Metabun_ny)가 된다.

드림그림과 함께 참여해 만들어진 <Metabun_ny World> 아트웍은 규격에 맞추어진 삶의 이면, 모험적이고 제약없는 삶에 대한 상상으로 시작되었다. 드림그림은 메타버니의 세계를 공감해보고 메타버니가 개척할 공간과 시대, 모습을 구체적으로 상상해 자신이 투영된 유쾌한 세계관을 만들었다.

<Metabun_ny World>에서 만나볼 수 있는 환상의 메타버니 버거샵은 드림그림과 오예슬이 탄생시킨 메타버니들의 꿈과 이상을 엿볼 수 있는 공간이자, 메타버스 세계로 이동하는 포털이다. 이곳에서는 각자의 세계에서 살아가는 메타버니들과 이들을 새로운 세계로 이끈 수호천사 메타버니의 특별한 10가지의 이야기들을 만날 수 있다.

물리적인 현실 위 가상의 메타버니 세계는 이상과 현실 사이 무한한 상상을 가능하게 한다. 분리할 수 없는 가상과 실제의 접점, 메타버니 버거샵에서 어떤 곳으로든 갈 수 있다면 우리는 어떤 세계로 나아가게 될까?
